On August 12, 2026, IRWA Chapter 1 gathered at Metro Headquarters, One Gateway Plaza (Mulholland Room) for a revived Past Presidents’ Luncheon from 11:30 AM–1:30 PM. The program welcomed members and honored past presidents for their service to the chapter.
Chapter President Neidy Pinuelas opened with remarks reflecting Chapter 1’s founding legacy and the tradition of education and excellence that past leaders have sustained. Attendees then heard insightful reflections from past presidents David Graeler, Joyce Riggs, and William Larsen, who shared experiences and best‑practice lessons from their time in chapter leadership.
The luncheon featured light networking, table icebreakers prepared by President-Elect Alana Edwards, and brief chapter/region updates to keep members informed about upcoming activities.
Special thanks to the chapter Treasurer, Cheryl DeMucci, for coordinating logistics and to Joyce Riggs for championing the return of this tradition.
