Celebrating Leadership Transitions: Honoring Our Outgoing President and Welcoming Our Incoming Executive Board
As the International Right of Way Association (IRWA) Chapter 1 transitions into a new phase of leadership, we take a moment to celebrate the contributions of our outgoing President and welcome our incoming Executive Board. This period of change marks not only a shift in roles but also a continuation of our organization’s commitment to excellence and growth.

Honoring Alexandra Nguyen-Rivera

During her tenure as President, Alexandra Nguyen-Rivera, most commonly known as “Alex”, has been a pillar of strength and vision for our organization. Her dedication, strategic insight, and unwavering support have been instrumental in steering us through challenges and successes alike. Under her leadership, IRWA Chapter 1 has achieved significant milestones, expanded its reach, and deepened its impact within the right-of-way community. Beyond her professional accomplishments of promoting to a Chief position at the Los Angeles County Chief Executive Office, Alex has fostered a culture of collaboration, inclusivity, and innovation that will resonate throughout our organization for years to come.
On behalf of the entire IRWA community, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to Alex for her tireless commitment and invaluable contributions. As she steps into the advisory role, her legacy of leadership will continue to inspire and guide us as we forge ahead into the new fiscal year.

Welcoming the Incoming Executive Board

As the incoming President, I welcome with great enthusiasm and optimism the incoming President-Elect Julie del Rivo,Treasurer Neidy Pinuelas, and Secretary Alana Edwards. We bring to the organization a wealth of experience, freshperspectives, and a profound dedication to our mission of providing a community to people in the right of way industry that fosters excellence in professional growth and opportunities.

Continuing Our Journey

The transition from Alex to I represents a seamless continuation of leadership and a testament to our organization’s enduring strength as the IRWA leadership program required four years of dedicated service starting as a Secretary and then moving to Treasurer, President-Elect, and President, respectively. It underscores our collective resolve to adapt, grow, and pursue the IRWA’s mission with passion and purpose. As we bid farewell to one and embrace the next, we honor the past while eagerly anticipating the future.

As I embarkon this new role as President, I ask for the incoming Executive Board, the Committee Chair, and members’ wholehearted support. Together we will strive to achieve new heights and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve. Let us continue to uphold the values and aspirations that define IRWA, united in our commitment to excellence and community impact.
